The Wandering Clan is a tribe originating from Waford before it fell into the Blue Sea. Despite not being native Sky People, they are considered Sky People by Blue Sea researchers.[2]

Cultural Relationships[]

After Waford fell into the Blue Sea, the Wandering Clan was forced off the island and began wandering the ocean. However, they were despised by the World Government and, by extension, by most of the world throughout their travels. Due to this, they were under constant attack from the Marines, to the point where nearly the entire clan was wiped out.

History[]

The Wandering Clan lived on Waford when it floated in the sky, where they discovered the Divine Breath and built the Colossi. However, due to invaders popping the Sabao bubble supporting the island, the island fell into the Blue Sea. Upon landing, they were served a notice from the World Government accusing them of using the Divine Breath to destroy a country, before being attacked by the Marines. Due to this, all members of the Wandering Clan other than Lim were forced off the island, and began wandering the seas.

During the fall, Lim had been with the Divine Breath, and was unable to move. She placed a barrier around the Divine Breath to allow it to heal, instructing the Colossi to protect it and placing herself in a cryo-sleep. At the same time, she created a copy of herself to monitor the island in her absence.

Over the next approximately 190 years, the Wandering Clan was under constant attack from the Marines, who claimed they had tried to use the Divine Breath to take over the world. Eventually, the clan began being led by Adio Suerte, as well as being regarded as pirates by the World Government. During this time, they continued wandering the New World, coming into conflict with and Emperor and, eventually, discovering the existence of Waford, which they identified as their homeland.

Over the next three years after finding out about Waford, the Wandering Clan began to split apart, with various residents remaining behind on islands they stopped at. Adio promised each resident that he would contact them once he made landfall on Waford, until eventually the only two remaining members were Adio and Pororoka.

However, unbeknownst to Adio, Pororoka had entered into an agreement with the World Government; in exchange for sparing his wife and daughter and providing a device to subdue his daughter's illness, Pororoka agreed to hand over the rest of the Wandering Clan. Having convinced the clan to remain on various islands, Pororoka passed detailed information on their names and locations, causing them to be wiped out with the exception of himself, Adio, and his wife and daughter. With the date of the planned landing on Waford approaching, Pororoka planned to poison Adio and hand him over to the Marines.

Approximately 197 years after the clan began wandering, Adio and Pororoka approached Waford. However, after Pororoka failed to turn Adio over to the Marines, he was executed, leaving Adio alone. Despising the World Government due to their treatment of his clan, he swore revenge on them, and made landfall.

Upon reaching the island, he encountered Lim's copy. Due to the rushed state of the copying, she did not remember anything about her past, having the mind of a 14-year-old girl. Taking advantage of her naivete, Adio convinced her to give him access to the Divine Breath under the pretense of using it to welcome the clan back to the island, instead intending to use it as a weapon against the World Government.

Some time recently, Revina and Renny, Pororoka's wife and daughter, escaped World Government custody and took refuge on Dressrosa. However, they were unaware of Pororoka's betrayal of the clan or of the fact that they were nearly wiped out, and have permanently emigrated to Dressrosa.

Eventually, Adio managed to gain access to the Divine Breath, taking control of it using his Kote Kote no Mi abilities. In an attempt to stop him from rampaging, the Government issued a Buster Call on the island, which Adio attacked with the weapon; ultimately, the Divine Breath was destroyed, and Adio's status remains unknown.
