In 2002, an alternative version of "We Are!" was produced for the fighting game Grand Battle! 2, again sung by Hiroshi Kitadani with composition by Kohei Tanaka and lyrics by Shōko Fujibayashi. To differentiate from the original, this version was officially subtitled GRAND BATTLE Super-EX Ver.

Several years later, the song was reused for One Piece: Grand Battle! Rush!, the last "official" entry in the Grand Battle! series.
