Wilder wears a black hat with goggles, a glittered black suit, and a Marine jacket.
Personality
Wilder is a practicioner of absolute justice, as he is willing to use and manipulate his subordinates to reach his goals. He also lacks sympathy, as he would rather capture pirates than hear the pleas of a child.
Relationships
Pokke
As Pokke's superior, Wilder has authority over him. However, Wilder takes advantage of the position, using and manipulating Pokke's Devil Fruit abilities for his own intentions. Pokke dislikes Wilder, as the Vice Admiral wanted to capture the Straw Hat Pirates whom the boy had befriended.
Abilities and Powers
As a vice admiral, Wilder has command over his lower-ranking subordinates. His physical abilities are unknown.

Wilder ate the Nepa Nepa no Mi, a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that allows him to generate heat waves.
Weapons
Wilder carries a polearm with a fan head, which he uses to assist in spreading his Devil Fruit-created heat waves.

History
One Piece Premier Show 2016
When the Straw Hat Pirates came to his island, Wilder met the crew (minus their captain) and attacked them with his Devil Fruit abilities. He then tried to use Pokke's Devil Fruit abilities to capture Luffy. Pokke, who had befriended the crew's captain, stood up to Wilder, but the Vice Admiral used his authority to have the other Marine soldiers escort Pokke away. Wilder faced Pokke again when the boy returned with Luffy by his side.

Trivia
- He is possibly named after Wilder D. Baker, a United States Navy Vice Admiral, who led the first naval attack on the Japanese mainland during World War II.
