Will is a man who lives in Kogyoku Village on Jail Island. He is Emma's father and a member of the Anti-Marine faction. He appears in the video game One Piece: World Seeker.[1]

Appearance[]

Will is a short old man with wrinkly skin and white hair, including extremely thick eyebrows that cover his eyes and a large spiky beard. He wears an orange vertically-striped shirt, a large gray vest over the shirt, a green scarf around his neck and sash around his waist, black pants, and a large striped cap the same color as his shirt.[1]

Personality[]

Will is a stubborn man who is vocally against the Marine presence on Jail Island to the point that he forbade his daughter Emma from dating Jackie and thus associating with a Pro-Marine family, viewing doing such a thing as a foolish decision and equivalent to throwing one's life away. However, although it took him some time to budge, he eventually came to realize that helping out family is more important than his Marine faction as well as the good of talking things out civilly.[1]

Relationships[]

Emma[]

Emma is Will's daughter. He cares about her but, due to his staunch Anti-Marine views, used to let his hatred of the Pro-Marine faction dictate her life to the point of forbidding her to have a relationship with Jackie, believing that doing so would cause her to make unwise choices. However, after coming to understand the importance of family and addressing these issues more civilly, Will approved of Emma being with Jackie and was glad to see his daughter happy.[1]

Eliza[]

Will and Eliza, Jackie's mother, hated each other due to being in opposite Marine support factions and blamed the other's child for anything their child did that they did not like. However, they were later encouraged by Luffy and Jeanne to talk about their differences civilly rather than continue to fight, and so their families have gotten closer without constantly feuding.[1]

History[]

One Piece: World Seeker[]

When his daughter Emma started dating Jackie, a man from a Pro-Marine family, Will disapproved of their relationship. This caused Emma and Jackie to disappear, leaving a note saying they were leaving the island to elope. Will got into an argument with Jackie's mother Eliza, with both people claiming that the other's child was responsible for tricking their child into going through with something like this. Emma and Jackie eventually returned with Jeanne and Monkey D. Luffy, and Will and Eliza learned that their children had been captured by pirates and nearly enslaved. They used this incident to double down on their belief that the duo's relationship should not happen; however, Luffy then interjected and said that Will and Eliza should care more about helping their children when they get into trouble rather than blaming a certain ideology; he also suggested that the two parents try to talk about their views peacefully. Will and Eliza reluctantly agreed, and they and their children later went to hang around Konko Plaza, with Will being pleased to see Emma happy with Jackie and acknowledging the benefit of talking things out.[1]
